❤Stay home Stay Safe❤Dhokra Mela- Dhokra or Dokra is an art of metal figurines
that are created from bronze and copper-based alloys. The technology using
in this art is “lost wax casting”. Bikna village, near Bankura Town in West
Bengal India is famous for Dhokra. With this technology amazing figures of Dhokra
horses, elephants, peacocks, owls, religious images, measuring bowls, and lamp
caskets, etc., are created by the expert artisans of Bikna Village. The lost-wax the technique has also been done in China, Egypt, Malaysia, Nigeria, Central
America and many other places too. “” Dancing Girl Of Mohenjo-Daro”, one of the
earliest well known lost wax art.
Every year in November First week Dhokra Mela held in Bikna, West Bengal. You will get a chance to take a glimpse of Dhokra Art and get to know a lot more knowledge and also you can grab your favorite piece of art.

is celebrated in Mannarshala Sree
Nagaraja Temple in Alappuzha District, Kerala. This temple is dedicated to
Serpent God. This festival falls on Malayalam Month of Thulam, in October /
November every year. The specialty of
this temple is the priestess of the temple is a Brahmin Woman. Serpent Idols
and sacred grove has taken to the Brahmin Ancestral home by a great procession.
Perform prayers and offerings are held there.

Mukha Mela Wooden Mask Festival- Mukha Mela Wooden Mask Festival is celebrated in Kushmandi in Dakshin Dinajpur district, West Bengal. This place is well known for making famous wooden masks by expert artisans. Mukh Mela festival is associated with the traditional Gomira dance. It is celebrated in the month of November every year. Visitors flooded here from across the world to experience this festival. Kushmandi is a famous wooden mask that is used mainly in traditions Gomira dance. Almost 186 wooden mask artisans, 63 cane and bamboo artisans, 171 pottery artisans, and great Mukha artisans from Uttar and Dakshin Dinajpur are involved in displaying their art at this popular festival.
Wangala Festival |
Wangala Festival- Wangala Festival is a Harvest Festival celebrated among Garos of Meghalaya, India. It is celebrated from the month of September to December. Basically in this festival honour Deity Saljong, the Sun-God of fertility. This festival is also known as 100 Drums Festival.
This the festival celebrated mainly to preserve and exhibit the culture and tradition of Garos Tribes in Meghalaya. Wanagla festival is a two day or one week-long festival offers sacrifices to please their Deity. “Ragula”, which is performed inside the house of the chief is the opening ceremony of the Wangala Festival. “Kakkat”, is followed by this. On this day people dressed up in their traditional attire with feathered headgears and dance with the rhythm of long oval-shaped drums.
Dhanteras- Dhanteras is celebrated before the great Hindu Festival ‘DIWALI’, The Word Dhanteras, means, ‘’Dhan’’, stands for Wealth and ‘Teras’, stands for thirteen lunar days of the dark fortnight. On Dhanteas day Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped.
People managed to buy utensils, gold/silver jewelry, and all. Also, new business deals, etc are done on this day considers as the coming day to be
more wealthy and prosperous. It is celebrated on the month of Kartik as per Hindu
Calendar. Dhanvantari is also worshipped on this day. Dhanvantari, who is

Pot Maya Festival- Pot Maya Festival is celebrated in the place in
Naya, Pingala, in the district of West Midnapore, West Bengal. It is held in
the month of 15th to 17th of November every year. It is a
festival of Hub of scroll painters of West Bengal. These all happen in the
village called Patachitra, where Patuas, tribes demonstrate their Patachitras
and also take visitors through the process of creating the patachitras too. These
help to spread the tradition of Patuas worldwide. These all craftsmanship include painting
through puzzles, T-Shirts, Fans, earrings, sari, dupatta, and so on. This vibrant
festival attracts tourists from across the world. Likewise, this festival became well known. Pot
Maya festival has been running for about 15 years now.

Children's Day- Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November across India every year. It is celebrated annually as a tribute to India’s First Prime Minister who is fondly known as Chacha Nehru among children. He is the one who initiated to fulfill children to have educated. He considered children are real strength and foundation of society. Children’s day celebration is intended to increase the awareness of the rights, care, and education of children.
In the early period prior to Pandit Nehru’s death, children’s day was celebrated on
November 20, but after his death, his birth anniversary was decided to be

Pushkar Camel Fair- The Pushkar Fair or Pushkar Camel Fair, Kartik Mela or Pushkar ka Mela is celebrated in the town of Pushkar – Rajasthan India. This popular Mela is an annual Multi-day livestock fair. Also held cultural engagements on this Pushkar Camel Fair. Almost 200,000 visitors gather in Pushkar to participate in the Mela. It is also India’s one of the largest camel, horse, and cattle fairs.
Mainly happens trading of livestock as well as it is pilgrimage place for Hindus. The pleasant weather of October – November also attracts the domestic and International travellers to Pushkar. The Fair takes place at the banks of the Pushkar Lake. Trade happens there, livestock life camels, horses, cows, sheep, and goats. Cultural events and competitions such as dances, tug of war between women teams as well as men teams make the Fair more lively.
Karthigai Deepam- Karthikai Deepam observed by Hindus in the month of mid-November to mid-December as per the Tamil Calendar in the month of Thrikkarthika is celebrated in Kerala, and Karthikai vilakku or Karthikai Deepam is celebrated in Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka in the month of Karthikai.
Karthikai Deepam is also known as Kartika Deepam, Thrikkarthika or Karthikai Vilakku. Like Diwali this is also an Hindu festival of lights. Diyas light using with oil and decorate all around the House. In the name Karthika Pournami. (full Moon day). The name of this festival is derived from the name of the God “Kartikeya”,. On this day Lord Shiva and his son Murugan (also called as Karthikeyan, Subrahmanian, Shanmugham) are worshipped.
Guru Nanak Jayanthi- Guru Nanak Jayanti celebrated by Sikh across the world, to honor the Birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru. Guru Nanak Jayanti is one of the popular sacred festivals of Sikhi. 10 Sikh Gurus are anniversaries are revolved in the festivals, they were the Gurus who shaped the beliefs of the Sikhs. These birthdays are significantly known as “Gurupurab”
