Bonderam Festival- Bonderam Festival celebrated in August. In 2020 Bonderam falls on 22nd August. Every year on the fourth Saturday Bonderam Festival celebrates. This is a traditional flag festival of Goa, celebrated in Divar Island, 12 kilometers from Panaji.
This is actually a reminder of olden times property disputes of the village. On this day they put flats to put boundary marks. Mock fights and carnival with street parades are held on this celebration. Joyous huge parades are held with loud music. People from around the world gathered in Goa to enjoy Bonderam Festival.
NB:- Due to Pandemic disease Covid-19, all the state festivals and other events have been suspended for the time being.
