Parsi New Year- Parsi New Year is celebrated on 16th August this year 2020. It is a regional holiday all over India. Jamshedi Navroz, King of Persia, who started the Parsi Calendar considered as Parsi New Year. This festival falls on Spring Equinox in 21 March, but Indian Parsi Community celebrates in July or in August as per Shahenshahi Calendar. Though this festival was celebrated by Zoroastrianism followers in Persia and originated in Persia, it is celebrated by Indians with the same spirit.
