Bommai Kolu- Navaratri Bommai Kolu is celebrated during Navaratri days which fall in 2020 is 17th of October This Festival  especially celebrated in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. Bommai Golu is the festival to display dolls and figures of God and related things in South India during the Navaratri Festival time. These figures typically give us the concept of narration of the Hindu legend stories. These are also known as  KOLU, GOMBE HABBA, BOMMAI KOLU OR BOMMALA KOLUVU. These dolls of golu made from clay by the rural artists, they decorate with vibrant paintings on the Dolls. During this festival, people do family visits, distribute gifts, share food, play devotional music, and sing together. 

Literally Bommai Golu festival is the part of Hindu festival Navaratri. Navaratri is the famous Hindu festival of worshipping the Goddess Mother of the victory on evil, is celebrated in different ways in every state in India. In Tamil Nadu, Bommai Golu means divine presence, in Telugu BOMMALA KOLUVU means Court of Toys while in Kannada BOMBE HABBA means Doll Festival.
